Surfacing from the aftermath of “The Blue” (his latest video from …and the Loop), things start to brighten up on the Chicago native’s latest effort, “Birthday Boy.”
“‘Birthday Boy’ came about from me trying to figure out how to be happy on a day where there was nothing to be happy about,” lou says. “So in a sense, faking it—faking your happiness. Most days aren’t your birthday.”
