It may have taken longer than expected, but Buddy has finally released his debut album, Harlan & Alondra.

Since making his DopeHouse debut back in 2011 with The Neptunes-laced “Awesome Awesome,” the Compton rapper has remained a favorite around these parts with the release of his Idle Time mixtape in 2014—featuring everyone from Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell to Freddie Gibbs and Robin Thicke—and his work alongside Asher Roth, Nipsey Hussle, BJ the Chicago Kid, and others.

Now, after releasing a pair of EPs last year (Magnolia and Ocean & Montana with Kaytranada), the talented artist comes through with his long-awaited full-length.

Named after the cross streets to where he grew up, Harlan & Alondra arrives at 12 tracks—including “Shine,” “Black” with A$AP Ferg, “Trouble on Central,” “Hey Up There” with Ty Dolla $ign, and “Trippin” with Khalid—and features an appearance from the triple-OG himself, big Snoop Dogg.

Available on all streaming platforms, Harlan & Alondra can be heard below. Press play and vibe out.
