For the past several Wednesdays Chris Rivers has been delivering a dizzying array of bars for his Barz Day series, freestyling over instrumentals from the likes of the Skittle and the Barbie, Mick Jenkins and Drake among others. For this week’s installment, he sifts through the TDE archives.
This time, Isaiah Rashad‘s Cilvia Demo favorite “Shot You Down” is the track du jour for Rivers, reinterpreted as “Now Or Never.” “It’s easy to be distracted or held back with everything that happens in life,” Chris says. “But sometimes you have to accept that it can’t be now forever. Sometimes it’s now or never.”
