Is this the unofficial start to Tha Carter V season?
Fresh out of the Cash Money jailhouse, Lil Wayne has been hard at work readying his long overdue Tha Carter V album. We’ve even see (fake) billboards promoting the impeding release.
Completely unrelated to the album, Weezy took a trip back to PARTYNEXTDOOR and Quavo’s 2016 track “More” to lay off a pair of verses for fans.
Produced by Murda Beatz, the remix was definitely recorded recently as Wayne alludes to his newfound freedom from Cash Money, rapping “No more CMB/ And sure it hurts/ But I’m more complete/ Wish I knew more at first.”
