Tomorrow (August 19th) would have been the 48th birthday of one Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, better known as Nate Dogg. Although he passed in 2011 due to complications from multiple strokes, his legacy and impact has forever remained embedded in hip hop music (see: Ty Dolla $ign).
Toronto’s ShaqIsDope pays a quasi-homage to the fallen singer with his latest offering, “Regulate.” A not-so-subtle tribute to perhaps Nate’s most popular song (with Warren G), the Money Montage-produced track can be heard below.
