Sadistik Embraces the Darkness with ‘Salo Sessions II’ Album

Since catching my attention with his wild antics on tour Flowers For My Father album in 2013, Sadistik has only gotten better. Working to master his craft with a combination of caustic honesty, lyrical wit and technical innovation, the LA-based Seattle emcee has continued to release projects on a yearly basis.

Following Flowers, he released Ultraviolet in 2014, teamed up with CunninLynguists’ Kno on Phantom Limbs in 2015, and held the original Salo Sessions in 2016. And now, after dropping Altars last year, Sadistik is back with a second helping of Salo Sessions.

Described as “an exercise in stylized turmoil that’s a deeply moody, cerebral, witches’ brew of [his] personal experiences,” Salo Sessions II arrives nearly three years after the first session and comes equipped with features from Trizz, Deacon the Villain (who just released an incredible album with Natti and Sheisty Khrist under The Off Daze alias), and Slug Christ.

Check it out below and be sure to add Salo Sessions II on your preferred streaming platform.
