Tim Gent Returns with New Album, ‘Life Away From Home’

It’s been a minute since we’ve gotten a full-length from Tim Gent, but the Clarksville, TN native is back with new project called Life Away From Home.

His first since last year’s FAiTH EP, Life Away From Home clocks in at 10 tracks—including “333” and “The Lingo”—and was written with one thought in mind: getting signed and hitting the road.

“I felt like if I wrote a project [with that] title, it would propel me out of the city,” Gent told NPR back in March. “That was my idea: I’m gonna write myself out of here. I just felt like, ‘By the time I drop this project, somebody’s gonna hear and want to sign me and I’ll be on the road.’ I mean, that’s what I thought. Of course, it didn’t happen that way.”

Regardless if a deal comes to fruition or not, Gent’s latest release is full of honest lyricism and is definitely worth a listen. Press play below and add the album on your preferred streaming platform.
