Following a rather eventful week in which he sneak-dropped an album where he shot back at nearly every single critic, had a few people respond back, and topped the charts, Eminem sat down with Sway for a lengthy interview.
In part one of their chat, Marshall — after he had Sway autograph his own album — offers an explanation behind the release of Kamikaze while acknowledging that its predecessor Revival (as well as 2004’s Encore and 2009’s Relapse) had a lukewarm response from the release of the tracklist. Those criticisms are what motivated Slim to craft Kamikaze.
He also began to speak on the rifts with both Joe Budden and Machine Gun Kelly, but Part 1 ends before he really gets into it.
