BROCKHAMPTON To Release ‘The Longest Summer In America’ Documentary

blame it on Meka September 12, 2018

While they haven’t formally revealed when they will release their anticipated major label debut, BROCKHAMPTON is all but hinting that it is arriving in a matter of days.

As they prepare to embark on their I’ll Be There Tour, the boy band have released a trailer for their forthcoming documentary dubbed The Longest Summer In America. Directed by Dude Heifetz, The Longest Summer will give fans an in-depth look into BROCKHAMPTON’s recent European tour, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the making of on their new album Iridescence. They also appear to address the murky situation of former member Ameer Vann, who was exiled from the group following a series of abuse allegations and sexual misconduct from multiple women.

The documentary will debut September 17th in Los Angeles’ Arclight Sunset theater, with a number of screenings in Europe, Australia and New Zealand taking place September 20th and September 27th. My guess is that the album will arrive with or prior to all of this.

Either way, watch the trailer below.
