Today marks the 22nd anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s untimely death. And to help celebrate the life of the West Coast legend, Mozzy comes through with a new song called “Thugz Mansion” with YG and Ty Dolla $ign.
“Watching Tupac struggle and then overcome the struggle was one of the main reasons I idolized him growing up,” the SacTown rapper told Billboard.
The fourth single from his upcoming Gangland Landlord album—following “Not Impressive,” “Who Want Problems,” and “Excuse Me” with Too $hort, SOBxRBE’s Yhung T.O. and Dcmber—”Thugz Mansion” was released with an accompanying video that finds Demetrius Shipp Jr., who played Shakur in the All Eyez on Me biopic, making a cameo as the Death Row rapper.
