Save Money over everything.

With Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa rocking in their respective lanes, the rest of the Chicago collective have been making moves of their own. Earlier this year, Towkio flew to space for his debut album WWW. And just last week, Joey Purp resurfaced with his QUARTERTHING album.

Now it’s KAMI‘s turn.

After following his Just Like the Movies debut up with a pair of EPs, the Chicago rapper has teamed up with Smoke Ono to release a new project called Very Slight.

“Very Slight is a collection of songs we made trying to capture a snapshot of what has become our everyday life,” the duo explains. “We’ve been progressing as a unit towards our dreams and we feel like we on the right path but nowhere close to where we really want to be BUT these things take time and progression is a process one that often goes unnoticed if you are truly dedicated to working towards your destiny.”

Locked in at seven tracks—including their “Reboot” banger with Chance the Rapper and KAMI’s Leather Corduroys counterpart—the EP also features G.O.O.D Music’s Valee.
