The wait for DiCaprio 2 is almost over!
With fans waiting patiently for his next project, Dreamville’s J.I.D kicks things off with a new song called “151 Rum.”
“This project isn’t like The Never Story or anything you heard from me before,” the Spillage Village rep said on Instagram. “It isn’t my GKMC or whatever else you are expecting it to be ‘headass’ lol. It’s not what I expected it to be, but I love it and I appreciate the journey it took me through to get me here.”
“Each song feels like an individual film to me,” he continued. “Mac came thru and helped post produce and organize on almost every song on here. I worked on being a better writer, even outside of punchlines and shit. I can rap all fucking day, but I like writing songs and shit too. I really just challenged my self to becoming better, period. This album is for car rides, working out and smoke sessions (in cars) or wherever you wanna smoke that’s sonically friendly.”
