Since the release of NASIR in July, Nas has been rather quiet—well, outside of that lengthy, tough-to-digest Instagram rant about Kelis and their child—while avoiding interviews and (hopefully) putting in work on the actual album he’s been teasing for the last few years.
Last night, the Queens emcee resurfaced with an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. And on top of an interview—where they discussed his love for hip hop, recording with Kanye in Wyoming, and regrets about “Dr. Knockboot”—Nas took the stage to perform “Adam & Eve” backed by Jon Batiste and DJ Green Lantern.
