Back where it all started.
September 29, 1998 will forever be one of hip hop’s greatest release days with Jay-Z, Outkast, Mos Def & Talib Kweli, ATCQ, and Brand Nubian all releasing albums. 20 years later, another monumental moment has been added to the hip hop history books.
Little Brother just reunited on stage! I repeat, Phonte, Rapper Big Pooh and 9th Wonder have hit the stage together for the first time in over ten years.
The reunion of the trio went down at the Art of Cool Festival in Durham, NC. It’s the event’s fifth year; headlined by Nas, Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton and Maxwell.
Hopefully, this means a new Little Brother album could be a possibility. If not, it’s still great to see the three together again.
Check out some fan-captured footage below.
