Torae Drops ‘All Praises Due’ EP

blame it on Shake October 11, 2018

It’s been two years since Torae released a project, but that’s not to say he hasn’t been working. In fact, it’s the exact opposite and the work he’s putting in is one of the main reasons we haven’t gotten one.

(I said this a few weeks back, but it’s worth repeating…)

Since the release of his Entitled album in 2016, the Coney Island rapper multi-talent has filmed six commercials, a movie and a television series with VH1. He joined Diddy’s Revolt crew, hosted a revamped version of Freestyle Friday on BET, and started a podcast with his daughter. Oh, and you can also catch him hosting The Tor Guide on Hip Hop Nation six days a week. Seriously, the man does it all.

Back in the lab, Torae has teamed up with producer Corey “Praise” Thomas to release a project called All Praises Due.

Locked in at eight tracks, including the Biggie-sampling “Take Notes,” the EP can be heard below. Press play and be sure to add it on your preferred streaming platform.

On top of the project, Torae also sat down with Sway in the Morning for, what I’m guessing is, the very first freestyle-interview. No, he didn’t do the interview and then lay down some bars. This man literally answered all Sway’s questions in rhyme. Dope is an understatement.
