Donnie Raven Drops ‘Livelihood’ EP

blame it on Shake October 12, 2018

Back in September, we introduced you to Denver rapper Donnie Raven when he released his first public song to date, the Nottz-laced “Rainin” with eLZhi. From there, he kept “Vibin” with Nottz on another single while getting ready to release his debut project, Livelihood.

After years of personal battles, Donnie recently made the decision to become sober and has been getting things together ever since. And with a new outlook on life, he’s finally ready to share his music talents with the rest of the world and the EP is now available on all platforms.

“There’s a big difference between making music and releasing music, so I’d say without the sobriety aspect, I wouldn’t be releasing any music,” he told us via email. “Making music, that comes natural. But the diligence, focus and humility that came through sobriety is what has created the opportunity for this project.”

Locked in at six tracks, with three produced by Nottz, Donnie Raven’s Livelihood EP can be heard below.

  1. “Vapor Trail” (prod. Nottz)
  2. “Rainin” f. eLZhi (prod. Nottz)
  3. “#100” (prod. Eddy Mugre)
  4. “Mack Out Money” (prod. DLZMKSBTS)
  5. “Dirt” (prod. Eddy Mugre)
  6. “Vibin” (prod. Nottz)
