Collaborative albums are the new Black. Ask Huncho Jack, The Carters, Beloved, Lil Baby and Gunna, and every other team-up project within the last two years. I mean, even Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign just dropped one tonight!
Enter AD and Eric Bellinger. The two West Coast mainstays have reinvented themselves as Dizzle and Poncho Belly, and have dropped their own joint effort NINE. A nine-track project (naturally), NINE is led by the single “Text Me Back.” At a slim, 29-minute project it makes for a quick listen, but at a time where roughly 756 rap albums drop every Friday, we’re not mad at this.
