Since dropping Fergie, The Black Eyed Peas have been on a mission to take it back to their Hip-Hop roots.

Kicking off the year with the politically-charged “Street Livin,” will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo proceeded to “Ring the Alarm” on a three-part slapper, before saluting and and everyone that gets up to “Get It.”

Now, after sharing “Constant” with Slick Rick, the LA trio complete the cypher with the release of their new album, Masters of the Sun Vol. 1—which is equipped with the all the songs mentioned above, plus features from Nas (on the neck-snapping intro, “Back 2 Hip-Hop”), CL, Esthero, Nicole Scherzinger (who was rumored to replace Fergie at one point), and an incredible “Tribe Called De La Peas” collaboration alongside De La Soul’s Posdnuos and ATCQ’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and the late, Phife Dawg.
