New Sade, out of the blue? Sure!
Following “Flower Of The Universe,” their first song in nearly eight years, the legendary band has released only their second single of 2018 “The Big Unknown.” Similar to “Flower,” which landed on the soundtrack to the Disney film A Wrinkle In Time, “The Big Unknown” is on the soundtrack to the upcoming film Widows starring Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Daniel Kaluuya, Brian Tyree Henry, Colin Farrell, and Liam Neeson.
“It was an honor to work with such a legend,” film director Steve McQueen said to Rolling Stone. “Sade is an incomparable talent and incredible artist who so rarely releases new material, but luckily the original series of Widows had deeply resonated with her.”
