For the last 128 weeks (count em), I’ve been putting together a Weekly Dope playlist that compiles all the music that was released to help fans catch up. On average, each playlist consists of 30-40 songs. So, in an effort to put a little more of a personal touch on things, I’ll also be sharing a list of my personal favorites from the week.
Considering we just had a holiday week, things were a little slow on the music front–but we were still blessed with some quality tunes. Kicking things off, I’ve got Benny the Butcher delivering the raw over Daringer and Alchemist production, before The Diplomats and The LOX connected on an NY banger. From there, I’ve got a couple more tracks off Benny’s Tana Talk 3, a pair of heaters off Meek Mill‘s upcoming album, and a Gucci Mane-assisted remix from Amine. There’s standouts from JR Writer, Hell Rell and 40 Cal‘s The Upstage project, Statik Selektah and Termanology‘s Still 1982 album, and Key Glock‘s Glockoma. Plus a few loosies from Method Man, King Mez, Alexander Nate, and Olive B.
