Meek Mill gets his ring.
After suffering some Wins & Losses over the years, Meek Mill made it through the darkness and came through on the other end with a brand new album, Championships. And true to the title, that’s exactly what he earned after its first week available to the masses.
Moving 229,000 equivalent album units (42k traditional), the Philly rapper’s fourth album debuts at the top of the Billboard 200. It’s the second time he’s accomplished the feat; following 2015’s Dreams Worth More Than Money.
On top of the chart-topping album, Meek also saw his highest-charting single on the Hot 100, as well, as “Going Bad” with Drake debuted in the sixth spot.
'Championships' is @MeekMill's second #1 album on the Billboard 200.
