Earlier this year, R&B newcomer Arin Ray dropped off his debut album, Platinum Fire, and to this day the project still stands as one of my favorites of 2018.
Throughout the year, I’ve watched Arin’s fan base grow little by little, gaining a following large enough to tour the west coast and then eventually major cities across the US.
Attending his Boston show last month, he put on quite the show performing pretty much all my favorite cuts from his catalog. If that wasn’t enough, he also took the time to make an announcement.
Arin announced that by year’s end we would all receive a deluxe edition of Platinum Fire and even took it a step further by performing the deluxe tracks for us. Keeping true to his promise, the deluxe edition is out now and you won’t be disappointed.
Adding three songs to the fourteen track album, the deluxe edition comes with a lone, but impressive, feature from Babyface.
