YGTUT – “Get It” (Video)

blame it on Shake January 7, 2019

It’s been three years since YGTUT released his Preacher’s Son project, and ever since, fans have been fiending for a follow-up. And rightfully so, the album is incredible.

Keeping fans at bay with a series of loose tracks as part of his Save It playlist, the Chattanooga, TN native is looking to offer another fix before his next full-length arrives sometime next year. Enter: I.O.U., out January 18th.

“I owe the fans music and I.O.U. is our rebound from Preacher’s Son to hold my fans over until the next project,” YGTUT says. “I Feel like I’m evolving and understand myself more. With Preacher’s Son, you learn that my dad is a preacher and I sold drugs but there’s more to my life that that. Now, I’m telling my new stories, staying true to myself and making dope music. It’s TUT season and I want this money in 2019.”

Ahead of the EP’s release, YGTUT kicks things off with the project’s first single, “Get It.”

“I wanted this song to be an anthem for us, my homies, my fans, and how we need to get this money to sustain our families, lives and business,” YGTUT told The Fader.

UPDATE: Less than a month after the audio, YGTUT comes through with a matching video, directed by Gage Mcrae.
