For years Starrah had only been known as one of the industry’s best writers, penning hits for Rihanna (“Needed Me”), Drake (“Fake Love”), Travis Scott (“way back” & “pick up the phone”) & more.
However, last year she showcased her own artistry, teaming up with Diplo for their Starrah X Diplo EP. The project was an impressive showcasing of her own true sound through its five songs. A year later, she’s returned, prepping the release of a new EP.
Most likely to arrive in 2019, Starrah fires off the EP’s first single, “Codeine Cowgirl.” Speaking on the funky and dark single, she said, “My artist project is a chance for me to share my songwriting and production with the world in the most personal way.”
