After countless setbacks and painful delays, Papoose and Remy Ma are now proud parents of a healthy baby girl.
To celebrate, the Mackies have released a video for “The Golden Child,” a heartfelt song, created from the heartbeat of their son, that touches on everything from Remy’s lengthy prison sentence and the unfortunate miscarriage they dealt with in 2017 to the excitement they both shared about the impending birth.
“This isn’t your typical song,” Papoose said on IG. “This is genuine love, admiration, and happiness for our unborn. Those doctors said it wasn’t possible. No prison wall, miscarriage, or anything can stop us now!”
Doubling as a fly-on-the-wall invitation to their baby shower, which was attended by close friends and family (including Fat Joe, Lil Kim, Joe Budden and others), the LensGod-directed clip can be seen below.
