When deciding on my Top 5 albums of 2018, the real challenge was selecting 2-5 as the number one spot was already locked in — Book of Ryan by Royce 5’9″ was my favorite album of the year, hands down.
Keeping the album in rotation, Royce is kicking off the new year with a video for one of the best (and my personal favorite) songs on the album, the deeply personal “Cocaine.”
“One of my favorite songs, ever, that I’ve done,” Royce said on set. “Real personal, real dear to my heart. It’s not a dark song, like I’d normally do. Just a reflection of a darker time in a happier way.”
