It’s been over three years since we lost Sean Price, but the late rapper’s spirit is still as strong as ever.
In 2017, the world was blessed with a treasure chest of previously-unreleased material on Imperius Rex. And on February 8th, the vaults will be opened even further as Duck Down and Coalmine Records will release an album between P! and producer Small Professor called ’86 Witness.
“As Evidence once eloquently tweeted, ‘P fucked with me, nobody can ever take that away from me.’ Working with Sean Price was a pleasure and an honor, and I am confident that he would have loved how ’86 Witness turned out,” Small Pro told Complex. “Though we never met face to face, the musical chemistry between us was tangible and real and I’m so very glad the world can finally hear what came from our combined forces.”
Kicking things off with “Refrigerator P” a couple years back, the project’s lead single, “John Gotti” with AG Da Coroner, Guilty Simpson and Your Old Droog, has been released on streaming services and can be heard below.
