Before the end of 2018, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie nabbed his first chart-topping album with Hoodie SZN. He now drops off a video for the album’s latest single, “Look Back At It.”
Directed by JMB, the video features The Backpack Kid as a member of a prototypically clueless (and White) family, before he gets sucked into a television and starts hanging out with A Boogie in high school.
“I was inspired to shoot “Look back at it” in a high school because I’m like a voice of the youth,” said A Boogie. “When the youth sees me in a classroom I want them to be inspired to accomplish their dreams. I was just like them in a classroom at one point. It all starts in a classroom.”
