Tonedeff – “Trust”

blame it on Shake February 5, 2019

Tonedeff is gearing up for a massive 2019.

On top of continuing to build his Quintic Sound label (with a mixtape + debut album from Lucy Camp, more videos from Fjer, and Hectic Zenith‘s sophomore album), the polymath creative also plans to release his long-awaited (fully sung) Hyperrealism album under his Peter Anthony Red moniker, a re-mastered version of The Monotone EP (which turns 20 this year), DEFFinitions Vol. 3 and 4, and (what I’m possibly most hype for) the return of the Tacos & Chocolate Milk podcast with PackFM.

Getting an early start at the tail end of last year, Tone released a soundtrack to his Polyoptics film that included a bunch of instrumentals and “Trust,” a gorgeous record about two relationships gone sour and coming to term with “why.” Press play and vibe out below.
