A few years ago for a quick second, Chris Brown, Trey Songz & August Alsina stood atop the R&B world, thanks especially to their joint track, “I Luv This S**t.” With two albums under his belt, Testimony & This Thing Called Life, August showed quite the promise, in my opinion at least.
Nearing 4 years since his last album, August was never album to get that third album off, being plagued by label and health issues. Tonight, however, all that has changed.
Dropping his first project with since his sophomore album, August makes his return, joining in on the Valentine’s Day festivities alongside 24hrs with Forever and a Day. Laced with eight tracks, August recruits help from Ty Dolla $ign who appears on “Control.”
