Fresh off the release of his Trouble in Paradise album, ELHAE quickly follows up with a video for the standout track, “Sanctuary” with Big K.R.I.T.
“As soon as we finished recording ‘Sanctuary’ I knew I wanted to shoot something to it. I was fortunate enough to shoot it in Cuba, where it’s just amazing energy, from the people down to the scenery,” ELHAE told Complex.
“Getting K.R.I.T. was a no-brainer for me. I’ve been a fan for so long,” the North Dakota native continued. “It was really special for me to be able to work with him. We had a lot of fun shooting the video too, laughing in between takes, trying not to get attacked by bugs and shit. [Laughs.] I love this record and I hope my fans appreciate it as well.”
Described as a homage to “the greatest gift to mankind,” women, the video can be seen below.
