DaBaby Drops ‘Baby On Baby’ Project

blame it on Meka March 1, 2019

In my advancing age and dwindling sanity, my patience and tolerance for certain kinds of music is at an all-time low. And, to be honest, it would be all too easy to lump DaBaby into that category. I mean, the Charlotte, NC-reared rapper, obviously, isn’t the only “Baby”-named artist out there (see: Lil Baby, the artist formerly known as Baby but, more recently, more known as Lil Wayne’s former hostage-taker Birdman).

But I find DaBaby to be, well, wholly entertaining. Sure, the music is ignorant, but some of the things he does is out-of-control hilarious to me: his video for “Blank Blank” could have gotten me fired, while “Mini Van” and “Walker Texas Ranger” are just wacky as all hell. Plus, I enjoy his music quite a bit.

Four months after his Blank Blank project was released, DaBaby has re-upped with Baby On Baby. A 12-track project, the likes of Offset, Rich Homie Quan, Stunna 4 Vegas, and Rich the Kid are featured throughout.
