Despite being marred by Kanye West’s foolish antics, Teyana Taylor‘s KTSE project was still full of soul and remains in rotation among those with functioning ears.
Now, fresh off her “WTP” video, Teyana “Spike Tee” Taylor is back in the director’s chair with a video for “Issues/Hold On.” And while her “Gonna Love Me (Wu-Mix)” video was set in the 90s, she’s taken it back another two decades.
With the 70’s in full effect, the vintage video follows the ups and downs of Teyana’s relationship with her on-screen lover (played by A$AP Rocky)—from a retro wedding to a fight over Rocky flirting with her best friend (played by Lori Harvey), before making up in the bedroom.
