BJ the Chicago Kid is back!
Looking back at In My Life, we at the Dopehouse very much enjoyed the album (hell, it still gets spins to this day). And as we approach the three-year mark for the album, it’s about time he drops another gem on us.
Since In My Life, the Chi-Town singer has delivered great tracks like “Roses” and “Going Once, Going Twice” (from last year’s The Opening Ceremony EP) and tonight’s release will definitely be added onto that list.
Resurfacing with “Close,” BJ lays off a slow-tempo and passionate ballad, perfect for when you and that special someone in your life want to, well… subtract the distance between y’all and hit the sheets.
