Of all places to discover music, the very first time I heard this track was on the radio.
I was walking home very late at night a few days ago, and some random car was blasting what I initially thought was “Bonnie & Shyne” (which is one of my favorite songs from the Bad Boy catalog). It turns out it was actually “More In The Morning” courtesy of upstart R&B singer Angelica Vila, who is affiliated with Fat Joe‘s RNG imprint and is signed to Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation.
With Cool & Dre essentially reusing the same Grace Jones sample utilized in the aforementioned Shyne track, “More In The Morning” can be heard below.
