Kicking things off with “City Blues” and following it up with “Sweet Poison,” the Nigerian-Canadian artist continues to show off his range and versatility with “Werking”—where he explores the pivotal point on one’s journey where they accept tension and setbacks over production from GRAMMY-winning producer !llmind and the rising duo, Take A DayTrip.
“Struggle is a necessary part of life and I let this song serve as a reminder that I’d keep going regardless of the length and pain of the journey,” TOBi says. “This one is a wake-up call for anybody who feels down and out, or experiencing a long period of plateau.
