Like many others before him (most notably, Lil Wayne) Lil Uzi Vert is apparently going through his own fair share of label drama (no pun intended), which has caused the rather lengthy delay in his Eternal Atake project.
Perhaps out of frustration, and following his recent allegiance with JAY-Z’s Roc Nation imprint, he releases the rather succinct track “Free Uzi Vert.” While his current label, Atlantic Records, says the song is “a leak,” not only has the artists tweeted (and Instagrammed) the song but he also dropped a matching set of visuals as well.
Who knows what will happen with Vert at this point, or if his “retirement” is actually a thing. Either way, “Free Uzi” can be checked out below.
