After dropping He’s Not Mine a couple weeks ago, Etta Bond returns with a more pro-love project in He’s Mine.
Together, the two projects stand as a double album. Just like part one, Etta delivers nine songs for our enjoyment. Speaking with Broadway Worldon the difference between the two sides, she said “The first half is kind of like therapy, the second half was more like enjoyment. Which are the two reasons I make music.”
She also explained her reasoning and post-release thoughts on the album. “I haven’t put much out in a while, especially in the form of a body of work. People seem so happy already with side one, so it makes me even more excited to give them the second side. I’m proud of it all. It’s about being honest with myself. As soon as I was able to be honest and acknowledge something within myself, especially in music, things changed. This is the most important moment in my life right now.”
