You may have caught Florida-born, Los Angeles-based artist Devin Morrison on Phonte’s recent surprise EP Pacific Time, where we at the DopeHouse also first found out of his talents. Needless to say, we can’t get enough of the singer’s debut album, Bussin.
An 11-track groove theory, Bussin is rooted and inspired in the sounds of 80s and 90s R&B/Soul, and feels right at home in your “midnight soul” soundtracks. The likes of Dah-Vi, We Are KING, Daz Dillinger, brandUn DeShay Ace Hashimoto, Joyce Wrice, and LakksMable also assist Devin throughout.
