Statik Selektah has collaborated with a variety of artists, and has a stacked discography of joint albums with some of them: Termanology (1982), Freeway (Statik-Free), Freddie Gibbs (Lord Giveth, Lord Taketh Away) and KXNG Crooked (Statik KXNG). His next magic trick, however, could perhaps be his most ambitious.
Statik is connecting with Bun B for a new project, TrillStatik, slated to drop April 20th. However, they haven’t exactly begun working on it yet. Taking to Instagram, Statik explains…
“[On] Wednesday, April 17th at 5pm, me and Bun B will be making an album from scratch LIVE for y’all to witness. And you know the confirmed guest list is gonna be legendary.”
This will be interesting to see.
