Fresh off dropping a joint project with DJ Muggs, Eto is back in action with his second album in two months (and third of the year, when you throw in his Heather Grey EP with Willie the Kid and V-Don).
From Hell’s Roof to Rhine Valley, the Rochester, NY spitter has teamed up with German-Spanish producer Superior for a new full-length, Long Story Short.
“My previous releases were rooted in my love of boom-bap,” Superior says. “However, when I linked up with Eto, I started producing specifically with him in mind and keeping it more atmospheric in keeping with the coldness of his environment and narratives.”
