The DopeHouse has been a fan of Seattle talent Dave B or several years now, and we’re more than excited for his next project.
Dave will drop BLEU, the official follow-up to his 2017’s Pearl EP, on June 21st. He’s setting things off, today, with the first single “CPU Luv.” Produced by Sango and Wax Roof, Dave parodies Microsoft’s classic advertising campaigns in the Lea Godoy and Kyle McCarty-directed video.
“I don’t require hella attention but I don’t think anyone likes to repeat themselves,”Dave explains. “I think we were in LA, and I just noticed how shorty and all the homies just be locked in to their phones to the point where they became unresponsive. That’s kind of what it is for this generation I feel like… so I wrote this.”
