With the announcement of a new EP later this year, Latrell James is hard at work putting all the pieces together for the project, all led by the lead single “Tracphone.”
Tackling gentrification and its impact on inner-city communities, Latrell described the track as “a metaphor for wanting to hold onto things that are ‘old’ vs. the new – and overall being proud of who you are and where you come from.”
Now paired with a matching set of visuals, Latrell drops off a Legacy Content-directed video, featuring a confused couple watching an infomercial for hair picks led by Latrell.
