It’s been a second since we’ve seen Tory Lanez not involved in some drama. From his beefs with Joyner Lucas and Don Q to issues with the signing of Melii, Tory has been a regular in headlines.
More recently, however, it has been music-centered. Early last month the Toronto rapper dropped off, International Fargo, a quickstrike tape that saw him heading back to his early mixtape roots. Today, he returns with a new song and video for “What Happened To The Kids.”
Placing himself in a more positive and mentor-like role, he described his thought process in creating the song, “I wrote this song and made this video to show the youth the outcome of a lot of our decisions.. every action has a reaction .. and we are living in a world where people are afraid to speak the truth because of the reaction of the world and others.”
