Back in 2017 it was announced that Disney would recreate a “live-action” (and heavily CGI’d) version of their 1994 classic, The Lion King, with an ensemble cast: Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa, Seth Rogan as Pumbaa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, and Beyoncé as Nala, among many others.
Set to arrive on July 19th, a new trailer for the film has been released primarily featuring Beyoncé’s character. While only 30 seconds, it is the first reveal of the mega-star in the film. Watch below.
