Good news, Tuxedo fans: Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One are releasing another album this summer!
With Tuxedo III dropping July 19th, the funkdafied duo initially kicked the campaign off with “The Tuxedo Way” last month. And now, they’re right back at it with a second taste of their third project–teaming up with Stones Throw crooner Benny Sings on “Toast 2 Us.”
“We always have one or two slow jams on each album, but this time a slow jam was a unanimous favorite which is strange for us,” the duo says. “Benny Sings has always been one of our favorite artists and he brought a different flavor to the song that is truly magical.”
Equipped with 11 tracks, Tuxedo III will include features from MF DOOM, DaM Funk, Leven Kali, Battlecat, and more.
