Currently touring the country, YBN Cordae is sitting on what could be quite the impressive debut with The Lost Boy. With tracks like “Locationships” and “Have Mercy” leading the way, the North Carolina rapper returns with a new single.

Grabbing Chance the Rapper for his latest release, the two connect for “Bad Idea.” Sporting “good home vibes, good summer vibes, like a good nostalgic feeling to it,” as Cordae described on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 Radio Show, the song grabs inspiration from Gil Scott-Heron’s “Home Is Where The Hatred Is.”

Both Chance and Cordae are prepping albums for a July release, with Cordae’s set to feature Anderson .Paak, Meek Mill and Pusha T.

Produced by Bongo By the Way and Kid Culture, with additional vocals by SiR and Ant Clemons, the song was released with an equally feel good video, directed by A Plus Filmz, that can be seen below.
