Guess who has two thumbs and has played The Plugs I Met nonstop since its release? This writer (and, likely, a bunch of other people as well).
Benny the Butcher gave his new project the (Tidal-sponsored) Car Test, where he breaks down key moments throughout the EP including “Crown For Kings,” his work with producer Daringer on “Sunday School,” working with Pusha-T, and more.
Coincidentally, as this was clearly shot before the album’s release, he reveals some new information about the project: namely, “18 Wheeler” was originally dubbed “Drug Dealers Anonymous 2” (the sequel to Pusha’s King Push standout with Jay-Z), and Benny also previewed the track “Break Down” which never made the EP.
