Much like how Ella Mai‘s “Boo’d Up” took off nearly 18 months after its initial release, Afrowave creator Afro B is currently the latest recipient of “music listeners who listen with their eyes” as his early-2018 single “Joanna (Drogba)” has now — inexplicably — become a contender for 2019’s song of the summer.
Seriously, what will it take for 96% of music listeners to stop acting like this?
