After five intense seasons, Starz’ hit show POWER will end things in 2019. With the sixth season set to debut August 25th, the first trailer of the season has debuted.
Following the (SPOILER ALERT!!!) shooting of Ghost’s on-off lover, Angela Valdes, by his onetime brother-in-arms Tommy, everything seemingly comes to a head: the Feds bearing down on him, his failing relationship with his wife and son, his desperation to leave the drug game behind, and — ultimately — revenge on Tommy. It’s also safe to say that Angie may not have survived the shooting, too.
A contrast to previous seasons, Season 6 will consist of 15 episodes, and well as the directorial debut of 50 Cent. Watch below.
